INTRODUCTION
Hello, my name is Amy Essington, and I am currently seeking the next step in my professional journey. Over the course of my career, I have accumulated extensive experience in both the local news industry, where I worked for five years, and the private energy sector, where I spent an additional six years managing creative and communications initiatives.
In 2020, following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the decision to launch my own business, adapting to the challenges of an unprecedented job market. While I have greatly valued the independence and growth that comes with running a small business over the past five years, I am now eager to transition into a new role where I can leverage my diverse skill set and experience in a larger organizational setting.
I am excited to bring my background in communications, creativity, and problem-solving to a dynamic team, and I look forward to exploring new opportunities where I can make a meaningful impact.
